Access 2000 is the default file format for Access XP. If you leave it
that way, you can share a database with an A2k machine as long as you
don't use any of the XP specific features of AXP. I see no particular
advantage to using the 2002 format for database files.

I just upgraded my OS and my Office to XP. Now, when I open access
(existing file or new file), in the database ojbects window title bar it
says "Access 2000 file format". Why is that? Is there some setitng I
need to change?
