Keith - Check your references. I usually make sure I have 'Microsoft DAO 3.6 Object Library' checked. That usually does the trick. I was using the Switchboard Manager utility to setup menus on my application. In the process of this, the utility wizard created code which included the above declaration. However, the application keeps giving me an error on that line, saying the variable isn't defined. Isn't that what the declaration is doing???...defining the variable??
