You can still set an ADO reference in A97, and objects that don't include the DAO model specification will be evaluated as ADO if that reference comes before DAO in the list. I was using the Switchboard Manager utility to setup menus on my application. In the process of this, the utility wizard created code which included the above declaration. However, the application keeps giving me an error on that line, saying the variable isn't defined. Isn't that what the declaration is doing???...defining the variable??
