Doesn't installing the latest Jet 3.x service pack also upgrade the DAO?

If they install the last service pack for Office 97 (I think
it's 2b), that should upgrade Jet to 3.51.

		Rocky,

You may know how to get around this. We switched the
server to a new machine running MS XP Professional.

We loaded Access 97 and went to run EZMRP. We could not
get Access to come up. The screen said "out of memory".

We went on MS website and found Microsoft Knowledge Base
Article 161255 which talked about receiving an "Out of memory" error
when trying to start MS Access on a computer having 1 GB memory or more,
which we have.

It talks about the MS Jet Database Engine version 3.0
and 3.5. The article says MS jet database engine version 3.51 doesn't
have the problem.

Do you know if 3.51 works with XP Professional? At this
time, we can't run EZMRP on the server and I want to fix that.

		Thanks for your thoughts.

		Dave
