[AccessD] 'Find' inconsistent

I wasn't very clear in my inquiry.

I remember an issue a couple of years ago with opening a table, clicking
find and entering a value, and a totally different record is found.

I also remember that we installed a service pack and the issue was
resolved.

The only problem is I can't remember what service pack we used.

A client of ours just installed Access2000 (without service packs), and
they are running into this problem.

Sorry about the confusion,

Mark

A filter will handle complex expressions -- no need to do one and then
the other -- just do them all with the filter. ADO Find can't handle And
and Or.

I have used it extensively without problems. Perhaps you are
referring to inconsistencies between DAO's many FIND commands and ADO's
single command? For example, you can't find on a complex expression. You
have to find on one expression then filter the result set on the rest of
the expression. At least that's the only thing that worked for me.

I'm using Access2000, and am having a problem finding records
when using the 'Find' command.

I remember reading somewhere about an inconsistency with finding
the correct records.

Is there a service pack that resolves this issue (Access, Jet,
MDAC)?

	Any help is greatly appreciated
