I just always design my pages for 800 x 600, as those will never have a problem at higher, and like you, I'm not real worried about the 640 x 480 users ... they have to expect to compromise! Of course, it doesn't display right at 800 x 600 - the buttons in the TOC on the left are partially hidden by the slider bar. Is it just me, or does this kind of thing really suck. Is there any way to force the button sizes to shrink when displayed on 800 x 600? I really hate to do my development for that resolution, but it is the most common still. Of course AFAIAC, anyone using 640 x 480 can just browse elsewhere. 8-( Any thoughts on this? John W.
