They are constantly changing their site, and as recently as 2 weeks ago it was impossible to browse a list of search results @800x600 without scrolling horizontally. I just went there, and it seems that they have fixed that particular problem. Everything fits, but inexplicably there is still a horizontal scrollbar at the bottom of the page! -----Original Message----- From: Heenan, Lambert [mailto:Lambert.Heenan at aig.com] Sent: Friday, February 21, 2003 12:17 PM To: 'accessd at databaseadvisors.com' Subject: RE: Netscape with IE - was RE: [AccessD] New look for ColbyConsul ting What's wrong with eBay at 800x600. It all fits on my screen at that res. even with the font size set to largest. Of course if somone puts an item up for sale and it heads off west (to the right of the screen) then that's the seller's fault, not eBay. > -----Original Message----- > From: Brett Barabash [SMTP:BBarabash at tappeconstruction.com] > Sent: Friday, February 21, 2003 9:25 AM > To: 'accessd at databaseadvisors.com' > Subject: RE: Netscape with IE - was RE: [AccessD] New look for > ColbyConsul ting > > >Greater than 95% or the market uses 17 inch (or greater) monitors so most > >web sites use 600 x 800 resolution. > > I use dual 17" monitors at 800x600, and I am finding an alarming amount of > websites that don't even display properly at 800x600 (eBay for example!). > _______________________________________________ AccessD mailing list AccessD at databaseadvisors.com http://databaseadvisors.com/mailman/listinfo/accessd Website: http://www.databaseadvisors.com
