[AccessD] Hiding "AutoNumber" Text on a Form

If the field is visible then on a new blank record [AutoNumber] appears.
After the record is dirtied the number will appear.

I must be missing something - not the first time :-).

*Where* does the text "Autonumber" appear? If you drag a field onto a form
Access will supply the field name as a caption, but I've never seen
"Autonumber" showing up on a form?????
