Nope... The only System objects that show up are the ones SQL Server uses for the database itself... If you can does the table MSysAccessStorage become visible in the tables view of the db window? ADP might be storing info about the modules in this system table, which remains in the ADP instead of SQL Server. The table that is bloating is not a data table, but a system table. The meat of the database is supposed to reside in the server (in my case SQL Server 2000) that you are connected to. What you are saying might make sense if and ADP was somehow storing info somewhere outside of that connection. According to MS documentation that is not supposed to be the case. From the KB article it sounds like the MSysAccessStorage table keeps track of module code (somehow?), and modules are part of the ADP. So it might make sense that the MSysAccessStorage table is actually in the ADP as a hidden system file. So, does this table exist in your ADP? Doris did point out that she only recovered the space when she copied into a new container, not just when she closed and reopened the adp. That is the normal action of Access when it needs temporary space that it then releases when it is through with it. Bloat is when it grabs space and does not release it when it is no longer needed. I have one ADP that balloons up to 38MB and then shrinks down to 25MB when I pull everything into a new container.
