Also, the ship has to create a crosswind of 30 knots to allow the planes to
take off.  That means that it either has to go into the wind, and make up
the difference, or it has to create the crosswind on it's own.  I don't know
if I am allowed to say how fast I have seen our ship go.  <grin>
