Yes, that does work.  However, I would contend that using DateAdd() is a
"safer" way of doing it, in that if MS ever changes how dates are
stored, presumably DateAdd will still act as expected.  I suppose it's
also a matter of personal style.  Performance-wise, either way should be
fiarly equivalent.  I've never noticed a significant lag when using
DateAdd.
