Glad to help. I thought you were going to take it a step further. Check to see if you could access a table (to determine if it was linked or not), if it wasn't, then just automatically link the tables with a 'forced' path. This is what I did. Liz suggested to map the drive on a local drive to mirror the client's. I couldn't use this suggestion because the location is not mapped. I have to use the network path. Drew's suggestion worked. I created the module and put a button on the main menu. I added a table with one boolean field called tableLinked. When the button is clicked, it's hidden after the tables have been relinked. I had to walk the client through the process of finding the backend, but it did save me a trip. They're happy, I'm happy...
