Susan, if you are using Outlook, then try out Cloudmark's SPamnet, I think I heard about it on this list. It works great. Everyone that uses it contributes to one huge database which gets downloaded by spamnet. I used to spend so much time everyday editing/configuring anti spam programs, now I rarely have to (maybe one or to a day, if that), its great. I've tried a bunch of other programs, but most didn't work, or worse locked up my outlook (IhateSpam did this). http://cloudmark.com/products/spamnet/ The only thing is that it only works with Outlook. They say that a version of OE is coming soon. "All the figures I ever had in my head just fly right on out when I have on a new bonnet." Rabbit Anyway... I don't even really understand what you guys are talking about. I know of no way to really protect ourselves from spam save unplugging. I suppose if there's a way to conceal list addresses, we should do it, just on principle, but I probably visit at least one new site a day -- and unfortunately, I'm drowning in spam, some pretty bad spam too. There's no way I would even know from where they gleaned my address. Susan H. > Before we all panic. Given the number of years we have been going how many of > us have been spammed?
