[AccessD] Code Librarian /was Thanks

I was thinking along the same lines. In fact, I was thinking along the
lines of a Napster like situation. Multiple servers, that talk to each
other. However, instead of having the clients 'search' the servers, have
them sync with them. The servers would hold all of the 'public code', where
as the clients would have a copy of that, and then allow for private code to
be stored.

Personally I think this needs a VB FE with an Access BE. (It's easier to
put something like that in the system tray then, if it's in VB).

I'd be willing to volunteer a few hours a week, the Idea of a central
MDB is
bitchen...I already have a set of questions of what we could use for
autoupdates etc... just like A/V software, it would be nice to set up
the
dba-CL to auto-update itself whenever the user is connected to the
internet... I mean something that would be above just ftp'ing a copy of
the
mdb... http transfer or of some sort :D....
