I was thinking along the same lines.  In fact, I was thinking along the
lines of a Napster like situation.  Multiple servers, that talk to each
other.  However, instead of having the clients 'search' the servers,
have them sync with them.  The servers would hold all of the 'public
code', where as the clients would have a copy of that, and then allow
for private code to be stored.

Personally I think this needs a VB FE with an Access BE.  (It's easier
to put something like that in the system tray then, if it's in VB).

I'd be willing to volunteer a few hours a week, the Idea of a central
MDB is bitchen...I already have a set of questions of what we could use
for autoupdates etc... just like A/V software, it would be nice to set
up the dba-CL to auto-update itself whenever the user is connected to
the internet... I mean something that would be above just ftp'ing a copy
of the mdb... http transfer or of some sort :D....
