Actually, with software like Boot Magic from Power Quest, it's a lot easier then it sounds. I've got 2 desktops and a laptop setup that way now. Makes a nice sandbox to play in when I need to. Haven't played with Linux all that much yet. But I need to get up to speed on it. Looks like it may be the up and coming thing in a few years. The new kernel will be released soon and its got some really nice features. Going to give Microsoft a good run for its money I think. Microsoft is already resorting to some legal tactics to keep VFP based apps from running on WINE (allows Windows based apps to run under Linux). Time will tell... Have a good day! This is a PII 233 LAPTOP with 160mb RAM. It's old and slow, but benefits greatly from a $100 upgrade from 3.5g HD to 40g hd. That should keep me limping along until the economy picks up and I start working again, whereupon I will be able to afford a new laptop. Even then it won't have 4 different operating systems. John W.
