Mark, Are you saying that whenever you open the form that the subform is displaying some data that does not conform to the validation rules you have placed on those fields in the table? This should not happen if the subform is displaying existing data that is clean. However, if it is showing a new record without proper default values already filled in, then it will complain. I am using the Validation Rule in the tables to require certain fields. Everytime I try to go to the subform...it tries to enforce the ValidationRules.
