There are just some things that are taken for granted in Access. One of which is grouping in reports. This is a question to those who are familiar with VB data reports... I have a data report design in VB. I am NOT using data environment so the stuff about grouping in reports on the M$ website doesn't help at all. My problem...I get the error that says that the Report sections do not match the record source. What I need to do is to programmatically tell the data report to group the records. I can't seem to figure it out. I use and ADO recordset for the datasource on the data report. I even tried putting the actual SQL statement as the datasource but it still complains. I would appreciate being pointed in the right direction...links, hints, etc... Thanks in advance. --- Eric Barro Senior Systems Analyst Advanced Field Services (208) 772-7060 http://www.afsweb.com --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
