MessageWhen you run the app, are you then opening the db again to look at the design. As soon as it is open once, any further instances of the same file being opened will give this message. HTH Selina ----- Original Message ----- From: ACTEBS To: access group Sent: Friday, June 06, 2003 3:22 PM Subject: [AccessD] No Exclusive Access to Make Changes Hi People, I am mucking around with a totally unbound FE (AXP) app and have started to get this error when I try to go into the design of any form: "You do not have exclusive access to the database at this time. If you proceed to make changes, you may not be able to save them later" If I close the database and re-open it hold the Shift Key to display the DB window - No Problems all is OK. As soon as I run the app and then go to make some design changes the above dialogue box appears. Have I not closed a recordset or what is going on here. Anybody had this happen and figured out the problem... Thanks in advance Vlad ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ AccessD mailing list AccessD at databaseadvisors.com http://databaseadvisors.com/mailman/listinfo/accessd Website: http://www.databaseadvisors.com -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
