  Do you have a program such as Norton SystemWorks that intercepts those files and puts them in the Norton Protected Recycle Bin?  There are many programs that take such control of the Bin for 'protection' purposes.

    Dear List:

    Sorry about the OT; maybe someone knows how to fix this.  On my WXP system deleted files are not showing up in the recycle bin.  I don't have the box checked in the Recycle Bin Properties to remove files immediately.  I get the delete confirmation dialog box.  There's just nothing in my recycle bin.

    Has anyone seen this before?
