But, a couple of good questions were raised.  First,
the client is in Pennsylvania.  Second, my screening
process will be pretty loose, but might include phone
conversation, submission of sample work or code
snippets, references etc.

Mainly I need to be assured that you can take over a
piece of work that has been handled by various
developers (and the obvious problems that entails) and
that you can handle a fairly complex project.
