We have it on WinXP, along with Office XP, and still do some development in it. It sounds like something went haywire with your install. Try uninstalling it, clearing out the registry keys for it and reinstalling.

    Friends,
does Access97 work on Windows XP?
I have installed A97 on Winxp
during install cancelled as I noticed I wanted it in a different directory
restarted and installed in the correct directory
then tried to run it and got Not enough memory
    reinstalled, same
before I wreck the PC, and anybody tell me whether it should run?
    thank you
