Nope, not a crosstab. However I went in and deleted all the fields except those from one table and all of a sudden it had a fields collection - or fields in that collection anyway. I think something in there is causing a problem. I'll troubleshoot (paste the fields back in one by one) and find which field is causing the problem and let you folks know what I find. John W.
