[AccessD] VBE

Hmm... the VBE that Susan is asking about (I think!) is the VB Editor that
looks and feels like the one in Excel / Word / VB. That is an entire
environment, completely different from the one that came with A97 and
before. The one that comes with A2K and later (and VB) is an object with
properties that can be manipulated, methods that can be called etc.

The one in A97 is an editor, and it edits VBA, but it in no way resembles
what comes after.

Or maybe I read her question wrong.

Really? I would consider the code environment in 97 to be a VBE. You get
VB like menus, it is a VB environment. Sure, it doesn't show up exactly
like VB, but I have always called it the VBE.

Just curious, have I been wrong all this time, and if so, what do you call
the VB environment in 97?
