Rocky, I use ScreenHunter. This program lets me capture any screen by full screen, active window or by click and drag. The program will auto name the files using a base name and a changing number to any directory I want. The program saves In Bitmap, Jpeg or Gif formats. I then import them into word and size them and write my manual around them. The best part is the program is free, they also have a paid version that does more. You can go to their website http://www.wisdom-soft.com/ or email me at my address GordonS at GSDbSolutions.com and I'll send the free program to you.\ The program is 381KB in size. It's for a user manual. Its for the Appendix - sample reports from the app. I have used the ReportUtilities download (can't remember where I got it), which worked well on the last manual but the reports had very little formatting and graphics. The reports I'm trying to do need to show all the boxes and lines. And since the manual changes I don't want to go through that handcrafting this of printing the blank pages with the page numbers, headers and footers, and then trying to use those to print the reports on them directly. Love to get these reports into Word where I can crop and zoom etc. Does anyone know how this can be done?
