Here's a trick that helps if your corruption rests in only selected records (which I've experienced). Open the suspected table, and sort the first field, first in ascending order, then in descending order. Bad records often show up with garbled data displays at the top or bottom of sorted lists. Manually delete the offending records. Repeat for each field. Can cure the whole table if corruption is isolated to records.
