Rocky, I did a little investigation a few years ago, and the cost of consumables for I think 5% coverage was something like $0.66 per page. Add to that the price of a printer and it makes Kinko's look much more attractive. Then you have to add the cost of assembling, binding and shipping the manual which makes it a pretty expensive proposition. Most manuals that I have seen still use monochrome screen shots. Why not just include the manual in .pdf format and let the customer decide whether they get color or monochrome manuals, if they decide to print them at all.
