An ActiveX control is not necessary. There is code available that will print barcodes (I have code for Code39). Another option is to look for a barcode font, such as Code39.ttf Most barcode readers will allow the user to designate which code to use. My recommendation is to research and purchase the barcode reader first. Then determine the method of printing.
