Here, Road Runner is cleaning a lot of the viruses from email before sending
them on.  Which raises the question of why the ISPs aren't our first line of
defense against viruses.

And spam as well.  Can't they detect an when a sender's email address isn't
legitimate and give us the option to block those emails?
