I wasn't sure if you needed Samba to hook up a *nix box to a Novell Network or not, that's why I threw it out there. But that's not all Samba is for. You can use it to have full Read/Write permissions on remote NTFS drives under Linux. Linux has built in Read capabilities for mounted NTFS drives, but not write.
