The command line of the shortcut would look like this (all quotes are required, and it's all one line) "C:\FullPathToMsAcces\MSACCES.EXE" "X:FullPathToDatabase\SomeDb.Mdb" /wrkgrp "Z:\FullPathToMdwFile\SomeSystem.MDW" /user SomeUSerName Of course you could be calling and MDB or and MDE file.
