Liam In the property sheet for the text box you can set the "enter Key Behaviour" to be either default - thus goes to another control when enter is pressed or choose "New Line in Field" and obviously it doesn't jump to a new control but simply inserts a carriage return in the text box. I usually set scroll bars to vertical when I do this sort of thing Hope this helps Darren ----- Original Message ----- From: "Liam Meadows" <liam at energyexhausts.co.uk> To: "Access Developers discussion and problem solving" <accessd at databaseadvisors.com> Sent: Tuesday, September 30, 2003 5:15 PM Subject: [AccessD] Text Box Memo Fields > > Is there anyway of creating a proper memo field, I currently use text > boxes but you When you press enter it jumps to the next field and not a > carriage return for a new line in the text box ? > > Liam > _______________________________________________ > AccessD mailing list > AccessD at databaseadvisors.com > http://databaseadvisors.com/mailman/listinfo/accessd > Website: http://www.databaseadvisors.com
