[AccessD] AfterUpdate not working

This is very strange.  I have code in the After_Update event of a text
box.

If I type something into the box, then tab out, the code does not fire.
If I go back into the textbox and re-type something and tab, then code
fires.

But, if I put a breakpoint in the code, it hits it everytime.

 

Any ideas?
