Cannot wait to find out what other little surprise await. Given the various data types in access what is the maximum number of characters for each one. I am not asking about the storage size, but the actual characters displayed. I think an example would help: An Integer has a storage size of 2 bytes but the number of characters maximum that will be displayed is 6. The other data types I am wondering about are: Long Single Double Currency Decimal Hopefully this make sense. Thanks for any help in advance. -- _______________________________________________ AccessD mailing list AccessD at databaseadvisors.com http://databaseadvisors.com/mailman/listinfo/accessd Website: http://www.databaseadvisors.com -- _______________________________________________ AccessD mailing list AccessD at databaseadvisors.com http://databaseadvisors.com/mailman/listinfo/accessd Website: http://www.databaseadvisors.com
