I charge the same hourly rate for documentation as I do for coding.

Then I strongly suggest that they produce their own.  I've never been asked to produce documentation (user docs) yet.

How many of you right them?
 
Do you right users and developers manuals that explain your hows and
whys?
 
In my forms, I do things like make non-visible fields red and bold just
so they are easier to see if they are buried under other controls.
