Quite a few Canucks living in Minnesota as well (myself for one)! We even have a curling club in St. Paul. 2 official languages, while being confusing and redundant, beats the heck out of having none like the US. Oh, and the term 'pissed' means drunk (or angry) in Canada as well. My favorite social event in college came around Christmas time. All of the posters said "Get kissed under the mistletoe", with the k crossed out and replaced with a p to spell the aforementioned word. Ah... Good times! (and with the stern OT warning in mind, I have ended my contribution to this thread) -----Original Message----- From: accessd-bounces at databaseadvisors.com [mailto:accessd-bounces at databaseadvisors.com] On Behalf Of DWUTKA at marlow.com Sent: Monday, August 16, 2004 12:08 PM To: accessd at databaseadvisors.com Subject: RE: [AccessD] OT Friday LOL. Oh, it's hard to forget the neighbors to the north.....they gave us their own bacon, they have peculiarities about having two official languages, and quite frankly, all of their talent moved here, cause half of Hollywood is from Canada! LOL! And besides, we have Curling too! -----Original Message----- From: accessd-bounces at databaseadvisors.com [mailto:accessd-bounces at databaseadvisors.com] On Behalf Of DWUTKA at marlow.com Sent: Monday, August 16, 2004 11:10 AM To: accessd at databaseadvisors.com Subject: RE: [AccessD] OT Friday Canada has Olympic athletes?
