Hi Rueben: The DB may be in a more recent format. I have only seen that prompt when a MDB was made in A2002 or A2003. In which case by going into say Access 2003 and converting the MDB to A2K (tools-->Database Utilities-->Convert-->2000), problem is solved. A customer downloaded an update from our website and installed it correctly. However, upon opening and attempting to link to the tables she received a message "Unrecognized Database Format". We've all seen it. However, this time, A2K won't do anything with it. When I have had problems in the past A2K would open and repair it. Nothing happens to this one. It always responds "unrecognized..." Any suggestions on how to go about saving it. Thanks.
