Can't hide the Access Window without VBA? C'mon now Drew! Some of us who began Access development before VBA recall using DoMenuItem Form, Window, Hide in our AutoExec macros to hide the Access window (alternatively you could use DoCmd DoMenuItem in AccessBasic code, your choice!). In A97 and beyond, the same can be accomplished with RunCommand WindowHide in a Macro. Not the most elegant solution (only works if your database window is active), but I can personally show you one of our A2 apps that uses it, and it hasn't failed once in the last 8 years!
