[AccessD] 'Duplicate values' error in Access - what number is it?!?

I'm getting that classic error "The change you requested to the table
were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the
index, primary key or blah blah blah..."

What is the error number of this error?  And waht event triggers
it?Try as I might, I cannot find a way to trap it.
