I believe the discussion was about the total number of controls that had ever been added to a form that was the problem...see quotes below. Mark "...it's not necessarily the number of controls currently on your form ...Access has a built in limitation of 754 controls that can be added over the lifetime of a form ...so even if your form currently has only 20 controls on it, if you've added and deleted controls frequently over its lifetime, you'll most likely have to recreate the form ...HTH :) http://office.microsoft.com/assistance/offhelp/offxp/access/acmain10/html/ac decLookUpMicrosoftAccessSpecificationsS.htm ...watch for the wrap :)" -William Hindman -----Original Message----- From: Francisco H Tapia [mailto:my.lists at verizon.net] Sent: Wednesday, January 14, 2004 1:13 PM To: AccessD Subject: [AccessD] Form Life... <checking, expiration...> A while back there was a link that was posted that explained how many "edits" or "changes" can occur over the life of a form, after which you can no longer make any additional changes. Is there any way to check this life cycle? or has anyone tried? -- -Francisco _______________________________________________ AccessD mailing list AccessD at databaseadvisors.com http://databaseadvisors.com/mailman/listinfo/accessd Website: http://www.databaseadvisors.com
