You need to make your web pages a trusted site. It is easiest to just have everything on the Intranet server a trusted site. In Internet Explorer | Tools | Internet Options ... | Security | Trusted Sites | Trusted Sites | Sites ... | Uncheck "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone." | In "Add this web site to the zone" enter http:// followed by the server name holding the .htm file | Add <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Note: if you want to use a drive letter in the address on your browser: For drive letter access, substitute <http://servername/> http://ServerName, with file:DriveLetter: (EG: file:U:). You can have both http and drive letter access as trusted sites.
