Chris and Rocky, Google "Redemption" and you'll find a solution to this problem (which is caused, incidentally, because MS fixed a security weakness in earlier versions that allowed malicious code to be, um, malicious). -----Original Message----- From: accessd-bounces at databaseadvisors.com [mailto:accessd-bounces at databaseadvisors.com] On Behalf Of Chris Kettenbach Sent: Tuesday, July 13, 2004 11:23 AM To: Access Developers discussion and problem solving Subject: RE: [AccessD] Outlook Asks Too Many Questions I have the same issue. If they check the allow for checkbox, you can make it work for like 10 minutes without prompting you. This should be enough time to send the emails. Hope this helps. I'm now, thanks to the list, using late binding, and the Outlook object model. Recently the client upgraded to Office XP from O2K. Now when she sends a batch of emails she gets a message that says "A program is trying to automatically send e-mail on your behalf. Do you want to allow this?" (yes, no, help). Help says it is because I'm using the VBA command .Send (which is true). So helpful and yet so annoying. Thank you MS for watching over me and my apps. Is there a way to suppress this message? If she sends 100 e-mails, she has to answer this question 100 times.
