I do something similar loading budgets from identical spreadsheets into a budget table. I have the code if you want it. I am going to have to start and automate something similar to this next week with about 500 uniquely named, identically formatted spreadsheets from one folder going into one table. -----Original Message----- From: accessd-bounces at databaseadvisors.com [mailto:accessd-bounces at databaseadvisors.com]On Behalf Of Jim Lawrence (AccessD) Sent: Saturday, June 12, 2004 2:36 PM To: Access Developers discussion and problem solving Subject: [AccessD] Importing data Hi All: I have a question about importing data. The data source is a standard delimited text file but I would like to be able to use an Access Import Specification file to help design the resultant table. Is this possible? Is the Importing process automatable? (...having to import about fifty tables, a number of times makes a solution a sanity savior.) Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.
