It used to be that users would settle for an alphabetical pick list, but now they want the items in a particular order. Instead of the generic continuous form for code table maintenance, I use a list box with an entry box and two adjacent up and down buttons so the user can add items, and then reorder them to their hearts desire. Doubleclicking an item puts it back in the entry box for editing. The code table has a 'sequence' field to hold the sort ordering.
