Using Access 2000, I use Hyperlink datatype in the table and just a regular textbox in a form. No need to set the IsHyperlink property. Cursor is a hand when the mouse goes over the textbox and it launches a browser instance pointed at the URL when clicked once. Text appears as plain text in the textbox. If I store: ezonemag.com in the table, it appears as a hyperlink in the table but looks like plain text in the textbox. Tab into the field and hit F2 (edit) and it changes from hyperlink to clickable text until the focus is off the text box again when it reverts to acting like a hyperlink but looking like text. Text shown in the text box for the example is: ezonemag.com#http://www.ezonemag.com# I've never tried setting the IsHyperlink property True before today and the difference on my system (still running Win 95 on my current work machine, 64 meg peer 'server') is that it displays as a hyperlink in the textbox. Hitting the edit shows the same text, but underlined like a hyperlink, as though the IsHyperlink property was false.
