Rocky Page http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=239114 Entitled How To: Obtain the Latest Service Pack for the Microsoft Jet 4.0 Database Engine Contains a section How to Determine the Current Service Pack Level of Jet 4.0 Use the following steps to determine the Jet 4.0 service pack level that is currently installed on your computer. Note Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps. On the Start menu, click Search. In the Search Results pane, click All files and folders under Search Companion. In the All or part of the file name box, type msjet40.dll, and then click Search. In the list of files, right-click the Msjet40.dll file that is located in the Windows\System32 (or Windows\System) folder, and then click Properties. Click the Version tab, and then use the following table to determine the current Jet 4.0 service pack level: Msjet40.dll Version Jet 4.0 Service Pack Level 4.0.2927.4 Service Pack 3 (SP3) 4.0.3714.7 Service Pack 4 (SP4) 4.0.4431.1 or 4.0.4431.3 Service Pack 5 (SP5) 4.0.6218.0 Service Pack 6 (SP6) 4.0.6807.0 Service Pack 6 (SP6) shipped only with Windows Server 2003 4.0.7328.0 Service Pack 7 (SP7) 4.0.8015.0 Service Pack 8 (SP8) I hope that this helps.
