If for any reason, you have to do it in the detail event , you might consider setting the back style of various controls in this section to transparent (till a better solution is found). I looked at the DrawMode property, and it looks like setting 1 might do the trick, but I can't get this to work. Has anyone gotten DrawMode to work with a circle?
