Christopher - I have missed most of this thread, but pdf995 definitely allows you to save to a specific file name and folder - and to do that you just change the menu settings - it has a feature called 'Autoname'. You may need to buy the pdf995 'edit' version - I am not sure. But ask them - their support is good. I have several clients now using pdf995 - and I set up the autoname so that I can save pdf files to a specific path and name and attach the pdf's to emails without the users having to see the whole 'save pdf as...' dialog. Works well. Christopher I use pdf995 from www.pdf995.com. I've never tried what You suggest. pdf995 uses an ini file that addresses where and what to stecify the output as. In http://www.pdf995.com/faq_dev.html They state the question "How can I modify the functionality of Pdf995 programmatically?" With the answer "PdfEdit modifies c:\pdf995\res\pdf995.ini to control the functionality of Pdf995. Programmers may invoke many of the features of PdfEdit by direct modification of pdf995.ini. " I think it can be done with pdf995 Dave -----Original Message----- From: accessd-bounces at databaseadvisors.com [mailto:accessd-bounces at databaseadvisors.com] On Behalf Of Christopher Hawkins Sent: 14 May 2004 18:55 To: accessd at databaseadvisors.com Subject: RE: [AccessD] Printing to file as PDF w/specific path? I'm not really married to any particular PDF driver, I'm just looking for code that will let me use that driver to print to file, and specify a path. -C- -- _______________________________________________ AccessD mailing list AccessD at databaseadvisors.com http://databaseadvisors.com/mailman/listinfo/accessd Website: http://www.databaseadvisors.com
