[AccessD] Corrupt Data File

I had the same/similar problem a few months ago...If I tried to 
import,export, or compact...I would get that error.  It seemed to revolve 
around 1 record( with a memo field)...when viewing the memo 'error' 
appeared.  I removed this record...and was able to compact.
