Hi Yet again having problems with this. I have a simple DDL query that works fine when run normally, i.e. you double-click it from the database window. However, I'm trying to run it programatically using the following statement: DoCmd.OpenQuery "qryIndex". I'm given the message warning me that I'm about to run a query that could alter the DB etc., but then nothing happens. The query is a simple CREATE INDEX statement that's creating an index on two fields in a table. Am I doing something fundamentally stupid here? Yet again, any help greatly appreciated!
